Cherry Valley Veterinary Hospital is proud to support the Paul Allen School for Global Health and Washington State University in their eliminate rabies programs worldwide. We donate $1.00 for every rabies vaccine we administer, in 2018 we contributed $879.00. Each year more than 59,000 people die from rabies. The deaths are mostly in Africa, India, and other parts of Asia where 99% of the rabies cases are found. One-half of deaths are children under the age of 16.
