Cherry Valley Veterinary’s medical approach is diagnosis driven. We provide the following diagnostic tools:
Hematology: in house laboratory for complete blood profiles including CBC, blood chemistry and electrolytes. We also offer a coagulation panel and SNAP tests including giardia, pancreatitis, parvo, feline leukemia and FIV, heartworm and tick borne diseases.
Urinalysis: our urinalysis includes a specific gravity, chemistry that measures 9 parameters and also a microsediment exam.
Skin and Ears: Are commonly affected when pets have allergies, hormone disease, parasites or exposure to contact irritants. Diagnosis varies, typically cell impressions are stained and evaluated microscopically. Additional diagnostics may include skin scrapings, cultures, biopsies and blood tests.
Reference laboratories are utilized to send out blood, urine, biopsies and cytologies as indicated.
