Radiology: In house x-ray utilizing the safest high frequency equipment. Radiographs may be forwarded to a board certified radiologist for additional interpretation.
Ultrasound: Ultrasound and echocardiograms can be performed at CVVH by a board certified radiologist or cardiologist respectively, by appointment.
PennHipp: Dr. Weekes is certified in PennHipp, a radiology technique that assesses the quality of the canine hip and quantitavely measures canine hip joint laxity. This method of evaluation is more accurate that the current OFA standard in its ability to predict the onset of osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease) which is present in pets with hip dysplasia.
